Dr. Dani Rabwin

Dr. Dani Rabwin’s passion for veterinary medicine is as vibrant today as when she graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. With nearly 20 years of experience, she has built a distinguished career as a practicing veterinarian, mentorship expert, public speaker, and author. Her deep love for the profession radiates to her clients, colleagues, and the numerous veterinary and technician students, as well as early-career veterinarians, she has mentored over the years.

Recognizing the need for structured and effective mentorship in the veterinary field, Dr. Dani founded Ready, Vet, Go in 2022. The program provides tailored, six-month mentorship support for new graduates, helping them navigate the challenges of early practice while strengthening their connections to their workplaces. Her unique combination of enthusiasm, experience, and dedication makes her a trailblazer in veterinary mentorship, committed to elevating the onboarding and career development process for veterinarians.

Dr. Dani’s career journey includes over 11 years as an Associate Veterinarian at Broadway Pet Hospital, and her time at BluePearl Pet Hospice, providing compassionate in-home euthanasia services. She is also a recognized speaker, sharing her insights on mentorship, shared decision-making, and professional development at various events.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Dani lives in the Bay Area of California with her teenage son and a variety of pets. She enjoys camping, yoga, and growing beautiful flowers, finding inspiration in both nature and the connections she builds with others in the veterinary community.

Leah Parris, CVPM, LVT, CCFP, HABc

With over 15 years of experience in the veterinary field, Leah Parris is a dedicated professional at the intersection of animal care and strategic leadership. A Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) and Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), she combines clinical expertise with innovative practice management to foster thriving veterinary teams and practices.

Leah’s career is marked by a passion for advocacy and mentorship. As a Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional (CCFP), she prioritizes holistic well-being for veterinary professionals, emphasizing resilience and balance in the workplace. Her leadership extends beyond the clinic as a RACE-approved speaker and the co-founder of the Not One More Vet (NOMV) Georgia Chapter.

She founded Southern Meridian Veterinary Consulting to empower veterinary teams through coaching, interim management, and consultancy, drawing on her diverse experience in launching and managing practices. Recognized as an Emerging Leader by the Veterinary Hospital Management Association, Leah’s dedication to advancing the industry is evident in her contributions to esteemed veterinary publications.

Away from her professional life, Leah enjoys spending time by the lake with her family—including a spirited toy poodle and two turtles—exploring fitness, culinary adventures, and reading. Dr. Wendy Hauser

Founder, Peak Veterinary Consulting

Wendy Hauser, DVM is the founder of Peak Veterinary Consulting and has practiced for 30+ years as an associate veterinarian, veterinary hospital owner/doctor & operator, and as a relief veterinarian. She also has worked in the animal health industry as a pet health insurance executive and as a technical services veterinarian.

She is highly engaged as a volunteer leader. She served the American Animal Hospital Association as a member of the Board of Directors, as the Board Vice-President, and as the AAHA Delegate to the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) House of Delegates. She serves the AVMA as a member of the Veterinary Economic Strategy Committee.

Dr. Hauser is passionate about education and innovation, and she regularly provides consulting for both industry partners and individual veterinary hospitals. She is a regular presenter at veterinary conferences, facilitating workshops on hospital culture, associate development, leadership, client relations, and operations. In addition, she has published more than 100 expert articles, and co-authored “The Veterinarian’s Guide to Healthy Pet Plans.
